Govind Guru Tribal University (GGTU) is inviting applications for PhD admission in 2024 for various programs, including English. Program Overview:
Applications are invited for the Ph.D. Programme in various faculties (Science, Management, Social Science, Humanities, Commerce, Law, and Interdisciplinary Research) for the academic year 2024. The admission process will follow the UGC Guidelines (2022 & 2024) and University Ph.D. Regulations. The application form will be available from 01-01-2025, with the last date for submission being 31-01-2025.
Eligibility Criteria:
– NET Qualification : Candidates must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET).
– Educational Requirements : Postgraduate degree with a minimum of 55% marks (or 75% in a 4-year UG program) in the relevant subject from a recognized university. A 5% relaxation is provided for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer), MBC (NCL), and PH candidates.
– Final Year Students : Those appearing for the final year of their postgraduate program may also apply, but their admission is subject to meeting the eligibility criteria at the time of the interview.
Reservation Policy:
– Reservation will be as per Rajasthan Government rules.
– Vacancies may be filled by General candidates if no eligible candidates from reserved categories are available.
– An additional seat will be created for candidates from the TSP region of Rajasthan.
Fee Structure:
– General/EWS/OBC (Creamy Layer)/MBC (Creamy Layer): Rs. 600/-
– SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/MBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/PH : Rs. 300/-
Entrance Scheme:
– JRF Qualified Candidates : Admission will be based on an interview according to UGC Ph.D. regulations.
– Other Candidates : Admission will be based on the combined merit of the NET score (70% weightage) and interview marks (30% weightage).
