Eligibility Criteria

• Category-1 (JRF Awardees): Candidates who have qualified for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and are eligible for the Assistant Professor position are eligible for both Ph.D. admission and appointment as Assistant Professor.
• Category-2 (Assistant Professor Eligible): Candidates who are eligible for the Assistant Professor role but have not been awarded JRF are eligible for Ph.D. admission.
• Category-3 (Ph.D. Admission Only): Candidates who qualify for Ph.D. admission based on their NET score without eligibility for Assistant Professor.

Application Process

• Candidates must apply for the UGC NET Examination scheduled for June 2024.
• After obtaining their NET scores, candidates can apply to the university for Ph.D. admission.

Selection Process

• Admissions for Categories 2 and 3 will be based on a combined merit score of:
  • 70% weightage for the NET score
  • 30% weightage for the interview
• The final selection will be determined by the total score (NET + interview).
