Eligibility Criteria
Masterโs Degree Holdersย :ย
– Candidates must have a 1-year/2-semester master’s degree after a 4-year/8-semester bachelor’s or a 2-year/4-semester master’s degree after a 3-year bachelorโs, in the same or allied subjects, with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.
– Equivalent qualifications from foreign institutions accredited by recognized bodies are also eligible.
Relaxation :
– A 5% relaxation in marks or equivalent grade is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer), Differently-Abled, Economically Weaker Section (EWS), and other categories as per UGC guidelines.
M.Phil. Holders :
– Candidates with an M.Phil. degree in the same or allied subject with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) are eligible for Ph.D. admission.
– A 5% relaxation in marks is applicable for reserved categories as per UGC norms.
– Equivalent M.Phil. degrees from foreign institutions are also considered eligible.
